MY STORY
Hi, I’m Nina! My family and I moved to Northern Colorado from Dallas five years ago. After settling in, I met a group of close-knit women in Fort Collins who shared a love of horses and riding. Together we created the Saddle Sisters group, enjoying regular trail rides, arena riding, and plenty of time loving on our horses.
One of my Saddle Sisters asked if we wanted to learn mahjong after she began playing weekly with friends. At first I wasn’t sure I’d like it, but I gave it a try—and quickly fell in love with the game (thanks in part to social media)!
We started playing weekly and still enjoy our games filled with laughs, good conversation, and yummy snacks.
Wanting to play more but not finding many local groups, a friend suggested we start our own league in Fort Collins. I loved the idea of bringing that same fun and excitement to others.
My goal is to create a welcoming, social space where beginners and experienced players can come together. Join us, meet new friends, and enjoy lively evenings around the mahjong table.
