Kind words
Kind words from around the table.
I just moved to town, did an intro lesson with Nina, then started joining the weekly play meetups — and I've been loving it. It's mentally challenging but so much fun. I look forward to playing every week now!
Easily the most welcoming, fun group I've found. Nina is the best.
I learned to play with Nina last April and haven't stopped since. The Mahjong Mondays are so fun — I love the conversations and skill building!
Everyone is patient and kind, and all skill levels can find a group here. As a college student, highly recommend!
How a FoCo night worksTiles down,
Tiles down,
phones away.
We started FoCo because mahjong nights are some of the warmest, silliest, most-present evenings we've ever had. The point is the people. The tiles are just the excuse.
01
Show up
Doors open 15 min before — grab a drink, find your table, no rush.
02
Play & make friends
Come as a stranger, leave in the group chat. Expect friendly games and somehow three new friends you didn't have before.
03
Stay for the prizes
Most of our nights end with raffles, drawings, and silly themed bonuses.

Our Facebook group is where FoCo players swap tips, find a fourth, trade wins, and hear about upcoming nights first. Come say hi — beginners especially welcome.
